Jayco Construction began nine years ago as a small operation making service calls in the Waynesville/Lake Junaluska area.  Owner, Jay Youse, developed a faithful following of Service customers.  As the word spread about the quality of Jay’s work, his dependability, and willingness to tackle almost any job, the business began to expand.  Soon Jayco Construction was remodeling the Lake Junaluska cottages so they could be used year round, followed by additions to provide more living space.  Word of mouth recommendations allowed Jayco to move into the commercial market.  Jayco is credited with remodeling/restoring historical buildings in Canton, and some second floor offices along Main Street in Waynesville. In 2002, Jay expanded the company’s operations to include new home construction.
